Voice of Hope Choir

SACS's choir, the Voice of Hope, is made up of a select group of singers who audition keenly and who practise once a week during school hours. This choir has been going strong for a number of years.

A variety of songs from many genres are taught and performed with gusto at various venues throughout the year. Their director at present is Mrs Jennifer Henry.

Senior members of the choir also form a smaller select group called the Chimes of Hope, who play chimes in harmony and are a firm favourite during performances.

FEES

Financial Information

School expenses will be charged at the beginning of each term. Total payment for every term is required before the child can commence the next term (i.e. Term 1 must be totally paid before the child begins school in Term 2). Enrollment places for those who have unpaid fees may, at the Board’s discretion, be re-allocated to others waiting to start school.

Fees may be paid by installments/direct bank credit or by prior arrangement with the school. Contact the Office Administrator or Principal for details.

For unpaid accounts the Board will follow the procedures outlined in the Financial policy for the collection thereof – these procedures may be viewed at the school.

The following costs are to be met by parents/caregivers:

After-School Sports Fee
Students who elect to participate in after school sports will be charged the appropriate fee. Fees differ depending on the sport and will be communicated to parents/caregivers during the sign-up process.

Special Character Donation
This donation is sent to the Proprietors to support teachers in their professional development and appraisal with regard to the Special Character.

Stationery
We have elected to subsidise stationery and charge a small fee to student accounts for the provision of this equipment. This ensures all students have the correct stationery as required by the classroom teacher.

  • The agent for determining preference is the local church pastor, school chaplain, or designee

  • The school roll is now close to 100% of its maximum and no non-preference places are likely Non-Preference places criteria:
  • The applicants accept that they will be attending a school of special character and that their place in the school is conditional on their participation in the program.

The applicants accept that they will be required to pay attendance dues as set by the Proprietor and these are not voluntary.

Non-preference students who cannot enrol immediately may choose to be placed on a waiting list. Students on this list are wait listed by date and number and will be contacted if places become available.
